Waste Collections and the Weather

The VWHDC has just informed me that the waste and recycling collections will return to normal collection days as from Monday 11 January subject to the weather not getting any worse. Therefore I take that out next collection will be Friday 15 January. Due to the adverse weather it was no longer possible to run collections to the planned holiday schedule. Priority will be given to waste collection although green and brown box crews will attempt to complete rounds as best they can. Householders are asked that if their side roads are inaccessible that they place their waste at the nearest accessible point.Further details can be seen on the VWHDC website
