St. Denys Church Bell Ringers

Stanford Church Tower has a lovely ring of 8 bells, the tenor (heaviest bell) weighing 8cwt.

The ringers practice weekly on Tuesdays from 7.30pm–9pm and aim to ring for every Sunday morning church service as well as weddings, national celebrations and other special occasions.

Church bell ringing is a fascinating traditional skill that encourages teamwork, concentration, exercise and social connection.
